Started my Touareg for work and the left rear TPMS indicator indicated NOTHING!!! No pressure at all, just a symbol which resembles an asterisk, but the tire is sitting pretty at 39 PSI. I had driven it off and on all day yesterday with no problems at all. Now I have the TPMS screaming at me that there is nothing in or on the left rear. Several forums have indicated that it can be a glich in the computer program which causes loss of communication to the sensor, the sensors themselves have issues or the Gremlins have attacked. In either case, I need to find out or figure this out before I am forced to go to the Stealership.
