Maybe related to the exhaust NOX sensor that was broken too (car has had a history of faulty sensors, both NOX & Oxygen sensors). Engine light continued to go on even after cracked Adblue injector was replaced (~$700). Once exhaust NOX sensor was replaced too (~$600), then the engine light stopped coming on.
