From the time I bought the vehicle in Sept 2010, it had recurring problems with the engine failing to accelerate or stalling at speeds anywhere from 10-40 MPH, causing me near miss collisions on a weekly basis. The dealer had the car in for repairs 5 times and said they could not find anything wrong. After a near miss serious collision, I had enough and gave them one last chance to fix it. They couldn't. So I threatened them with the lemon law and got an attorney involved. It ended with me making a "deal" with them where they took the car back in "trade" and I bought another Touareg, this one being a 2008. And guess what? The 2008 is doing the same thing, although not as severe, but there's definitely something seriously wrong. VW is ignoring a serious problem here that is going to get someone killed. I can't wait to dump this piece of trash and get a safe reliable vehicle.
