the washer fluid pressure was never that good. Recently I checked under the hood to see if I could find a source for the problem. Checked and saw a small crack in the hose line leading to the nozzle. As I felt it with my hand, it broke completely in two. Super brittle material. VW said to replace the entire hose assembly. 200 bucks!
