i bought this 06 vw touareg v8 on 02.2016 for 6500$ with 110th mileages. this is worst SUV that i never bought in my live . 6 weeks later start engine light on, brake failure, o2 sensor, , hydraulic not working, fuel pump leaking( inside the SUV is smell gas to strong) egr valve, about 10 gallong/mpg. controlarms weaks know the worst problems by driving the engine shut off , found out the chainbelt is broken while i m driving........can you believe that. german car ( 60000$ SUV), the chain made out plastic. took the mechanic , found that all INTAKE&EXHAUST VALVE are binding ( 40 valves inside the engine!!!!!!!!!!!) to fixed will cost more than 7500$ with discount. or need new engine..... & may be will run. its that serious, my night mare know is this SUV , spend more than 10000$ since 5month driving. & know is junk cars. because the valve cost about 26$ . it really shame to see cars like that on street or to be proud of cars made this way ... i lost 10000$ less than 5 month driving this dame SUV... it s suppose to be recall on chain belt on toaureg. i m really frustrated since i bought this touareg, i hope some lawsuit on that. me ( & all my people around me) will never ever even think about VW. i m suggesting everybody worldwide to boycott this company. need to be shutdown. never lost money like that in any other cars... ( own more than 50 cars in my life) i will making sure for next yeares to do all possibility to boycott this company. will stop anybody to buy any VW
