2019 Tiguan S 4Motion purchased back in Feb 2020 had issues after the first month with power windows. It’s random, but sometimes when window is open and you go to have it auto close (click up the switch to do so) it will go down instead. Even have a friend with a 2020 Jetta that will do the same. His dealer said it was from opening and closing the windows too much and mine said it’s a safety feature. Neither is right. If it were the safety pinch control it would attempt to go up and then go down after failing to go up. Mine will just go straight down instead of up. Have contacted VW Corp but until they can recreate the issue at dealer my “car has no problemsâ€.
