All my steering wheel can do now is steer. No horn, no music adjustment/controls. No dash view changes. Oh, and I have an airbag error so that makes me feel not so safe. I will have to get this fixed because it won't pass inspection without a horn. Oh, and BECAUSE IT'S ANNOYING AND DANGEROUS!

From what I have read, VW has had issues with their clock springs since at least 2010. VW reported fixing the clock spring issue for newer models, yet despite their report, my clock spring still failed. Due to the failed clock spring, my horn, electronic steering wheel controls, and air bag are all disabled. This is potentially a life threatening issue, as the failed clock spring has disabled the air bags.
