I have read this is a known, ongoing issue with VW, and that it can lock up my steering wheel, so I am scared to drive it. I also read this will cost upwards of $700 but should be a free fix through a recall. A horn and working airbags are a safety requirement, along with the ability to steer the vehicle. My vehicle is dangerous now, due to a known issue, and the fix should be mandated as free to me.
