Tech Tips (Car-Net Operating Control Unit (Address Word 75) Not Available in ODIS Self-Test Menu):
On some 2014 Volkswagen vehicles equipped with CarNet, ODIS may not display 75 - Emergency call module & comm unit in the self-test menu. Users may also receive an error message when running OCU function tests. To correct these issues, a file within ODIS must be updated and a Hotfix needs to be installed. This document informs how to update, and install the hotfix.
