Tiguan R-Line 2.0tsi

It starts super well in cold weather. It didn't come with a block heater, NOT EVEN AN OPTION!!!!! But this has happened at least 4 times this past winter. In -13 and down, the car would start but it would misfire and have an engine light on and a light saying "CEL". Also it would smell super rich as if it was a 2 stroke and black smoke would be billowing out. All this was cured by a touch of the throttle and everything goes back to normal. Now that it's hot, obviously it's not a problem but we'll see what happens come November.
