I leased my VW Tijuan in April of 2012. Ever since I have nothing but troubles with it. I have been experiencing breaks fault, breaks lurching, inconsistent breaking power, squeaky brakes, car accelerating on its own, steering wheel getting loose while I drive and a couple of days ago, my driver door bolts came loose, yes, my door is about to fall off in my one year old 2012 car…I have complained to several VW dealerships. Always being told my car is fine (except they are willing to fix the door once they order the parts that should be here on Monday...). My car is dangerous to drive, I am scared to drive my two young children in it but VW decline to admit that there is a sever problem with this model and it needs to be recalled. Why dose it needs to take some serious accident before someone takes me seriously?
I encourage other Tiguan owners with the same problem to file a complaint with the NHTSA as I am about to and file a lawsuit.
* One other annoying problem is the window wipers. you need a PHD to try and stop them when they decide to go on
