CarComplaints.com Notes: VW gave the Tiguan a facelift with new headlights, a fancier grille, and improved performance. Unfortunately they didn't address what gave most 2010 owners headaches --- engine problems.

I started the car yesterday to leave work, and the wipers started going nuts. High/low/off/on... etc. I couldn't get them to stop. Even after I stopped the car and when I took the keys out of the ignition, they were still going. They didn't stop until I got out of the car and closed the door. Was able to drive home without it happening again, but, it started up again this morning when I went to work. I feel like I'm driving a poltergeist car. Wonder if it's the motor or wiper relay, or even loose battery ground wire, as suggested by a mechanic site.
