VW needs to step up do the right thing for the safety of costumers and their family. The seat belt may be come unlocked due to malfunctioning, imagine having your child car seat come loose while driving on a highway!! but I hope it does not happening to any one. All Tiguan owners please check for proper functioning of your seat belt frequently.
