Tiguan S 2.0L

After the rear main seal failed and the fan blower motor failed, the water coolant pump began leaking while we were on vacation with the car and two small children. We maintained adequate water levels until we were able to get it to the dealer immediately upon our return. The water pump seal failed and was leaking slowly. Although neither the dealer or VW would admit it, several neutral mechanics said this was likely caused by the high engine temps when the RMS failed. This time VW covered the part $1080 and I got stuck with the labor which totaled $300.
