I had pretty decent luck with my car, bought it new in 2008. Had leaky fuel injectors at about 65k, covered under extended war. Carbon buildup at 115k, $600 out of pocket. Faulty thermostat at 128k, water pump/thermo replaced at $1,500 I think. Today, 12/15/15, Rear main seal failure, exhaust pressure sensor failure, and another spot starting to "seep" according to dealer. Over $2,500 out of pocket. Now, I love my car, I really do, but this is getting RIDICULOUS!!! Four thousand dollars out of pocket in 4 months?? I guess I should have listened to all the VW haters who said "just wait", your car will begin to implode soon. Any advice? Should I keep her and hope for the best going forward? Thanks in advance.
