I purchased a Volkswagen Sharan 2.0T car in May 2016 (made in Portugal), at 5:15 am on July 18, 2017, at normal speed (cruise 120km / h), without any reason the sunroof suddenly exploded (see video for details). Fortunately, the driver responded in a timely manner, endured the pain of the hand, the car parked in the emergency lane, lucky this did not lead to greater losses. Once the glass slag splashed eyes, there may be car crash, the consequences could be disastrous. Then drive to the nearest service area, using Volkswagen Car net, ask them where is the nearest Authorized Dealer of Volkswagen, and then repair, the sunroof and glass were replaced. Did not make a reasonable explanation and analysis of the cause of my accident, but said the situation is very rare, did not tell me the specific reasons.
The Chinese Customer CARE recorded this event. But I did not get a satisfactory answer. Because Authorize the dealer to shirk responsibility.
