I bought a Routan to carry my wheelchair. I had a 2009. You pressed on the gas with it and it went. With the 2011 it hesitates. I took it in to have it fixed 2 or 3 times. They kept telling me it was o.k. Finally I went out with a tech and showed him what happens. He said that is because you have to shift it like a stick shift to change gears. I bought a automatic not a stick shift. I didn't like stick shifts when we had them when I was young definitely not now. It could very easily get me killed if I had an emergency and had to get out of a tight place. It almost caused a wreck already when I left a shopping center to go into traffic. No one told me when I bought it that I had to treat it as a stick shift and I really don't like it.
