I called VW the day of the accident and I told them what happened and how my wife’s leg was badly injured. They told me they will help us. After few days VW send an “engineer†to inspect the Routan and later on they sent me an email saying that the Airbags deployed properly. I told them your “Deployed properly “ injures people. They don’t want to pay for hospital expenses nor for the pain caused by the VW’s knee airbag. It’s been almost 3 months and my wife still is dealing with pain and recovering.
Accident happened at 17 mph. Against a vehicle that was not moving.
