I bought the car used March 2014 and have since had the engine replaced, the radiator, the radiator fan, all electrical wiring, spark plugs (within a month of a new engine), the battery twice, and now the throttle body. Something is draining the battery. Ran multiple diagnostics which found nothing.
So most recently the car was acting up like it was about to stall and the lightening bolt light came on. It was a heavy snowstorm and it was icy so there was a lot of braking going on.The car accelerated on the way all by itself so I felt like I had to ride the brake to keep it from speeding up. When I placed it in park, the engine revved incredibly high and the only way to stop it was to shut it off. When the weather is cold, the sliding doors quit working entirely or open partially and then close even after the electrical wire replacement. This issue caught my 6yo daughters hand. The dealership says all recalls were fixed. The throttle body is being replaced currently in the hopes that it will fix the issue. It is a total guess at this point.
