Electrical problems with the Routan, it started once here and there then finally built up to all the time. Dash lights on, gas gage, speedometer gage not working. Windshield wipers stay on, you can't even squirt some water to help the rubbing the windshield, windows won't roll down, ac blows but it does not blow cold and will if it wasn't having the issue, back hatch won't open, blinkers don't work.
I was told it was the Tipm and they will make you change it, but it's not the problem. Very sad this issue is directly because of a door wire harness problem and recalled it as that, it's not the problem and they know it. They will charge you a minimum of 20 hours at $137 per hour just to look at it and they have their own special Routan guy to do it.
I've been told that they have to travel every wire and sensor to determine what it is, if they can determine it, come to find out, they can't even fix the most of them after all the money you spend on it. I have a group on Facebook, VW Routan call to action! I want them to own up to these bad vehicles and pay us back for our problems and a car that we cant sell or trade for its TRUE value.
