My 2012 VW polo which the warranty recently expired (3 months ago) the fuel injector decided to give up and had to be replaced. A friend of mine who also owned a polo also experienced the same issue as I did 2 weeks prior to my problem, and he also replaced 1 fuel injector, and two days ago his car was apparently sluggish and missing when started. he now needs to replace another injector. I have called VW and asked them whether this a common fault with the POLO's or whether they would be willing to cover the cost of the injector, and to my dismay they said no but the part manager at VW was not surprised when I ordered my injector which lead me to believe that this is a common fault on VW's behalf. At this stage I am hoping that the next injector does not decide to go.
