The window switches in the car have two stages: first is momentary for the user to set the desired window height, second is automatically takes the window all the way down.
The first stage wasn't working correctly. It required going into the second stage to get to the momentary action to work. This occurred on two of our four switches.
The dealership replaced the faulty switches under warranty.
The vehicle has 25,000 miles on it and this problem was occurring for about 6 months.
