I heard a clicking sound when I was turning my wheel and then my airbag light came on. The stereo/audio controls on the steering wheel don't work and I didn't try the horn or other things yet but after reading some of the other symptoms, I am pretty sure it's the clock spring. I have not had an accident where the airbags deployed and I can't believe that VW only covers this as a recall up to 2014. I am a faithful purchaser of VWs and am very upset that this repair will cost $$ that I don't have. I bought it new in 2015 and have taken great care of it. Is it too much to ask that it be reliable???? I don't want it to cost more to fix than it's worth.
