Summary
Technical Bulletin (Daytime Running Lamp Bulb Inoperative): Under certain conditions (speed, force, temperature, time) the Day Time Running Light (DRL) bulb can be subjected to premature failure. Excessive shock is generated from closing the hood caused by allowing it to drop from too great of a distance, which could result in premature failure of the DRL bulb filament. This document informs how to diagnose, and service this issue.
