I purchased this vehicle with 6900 miles on it. At 7352 miles I noticed a large splattering of oil on my driveway and under the car. I called Volkswagen Customer Service and they towed the vehicle in- the problem was a leaky head gasket. The dealership is awaiting the parts to fix the issue. It has been over a week and 4 of the 5 parts are in, so hopefully I will have the car back next week. I did think the engine sounded louder than my Audi, but I attributed it to it being a diesel. I did not buy the car from a VW dealer, but a Chrysler dealer. Seems odd that the gasket went so soon.
