Just a few weeks into owning this otherwise great car, we started to hear very annoying rattles and buzzes from the dash, mostly on the right (passenger) side. Three separate dealer attempts to fix. They improved it a bt using foam, etc. But 3 years and 75,000 miles later, I have various jury-rigged wedges visible where dash meets the aluminum attachment point near the front windshield. A cardboard tube that once held a roll of doggie poop bags; a rolled up envelope; and one plastic round bit from a pen. Adjust them in various positions = no rattle for about a month. Weather changes or rough pavement jars any of them loose...I need to readjust each wedge. Fun. (NOT). Thank God VW TDIs poison the planet and now we'll be getting almost what we paid for it in compensation.
