My car has only 100,399 miles and it had been properly maintained. However, on June 7,2018, I received notice that the timing chain failure was responsible for the car not starting. The dealer quoted me $4890 to fix the problem. This is ridiculous and VW should address this problem. After this headache, I don't see me buying a Volkswagen vehicle going forward or recommending to anyone.
