I complained about the problem and VW said they would fix the problem, They were to call me. A year latter they still had not called so called them and made an appointment to take the car in. They finally replace the seat and I left.
When I tried to adjust the seat I found it only worked some of the time. I took the control apart myself and found out they did not have it connected to the port . I hooked it in and it works fine now.
