So, I purchased this car used about two months ago. So far, in June, it has been to the Volkswagen dealership 3 different times and it was out of service for about two full weeks. The first time actually did cost me about $700 where they replaced the mass airflow sensor, which when I picked up my car, had the engine malfunction light come back on. I brought it back the next week and the car was there for week, they replaced the engine wiring harness and the car's computer, all under warranty. A week passes by, the car brakes down in an intersection, the engine malfunction light comes on and when shifting the transmission from drive to park and back to drive the whole car shutters, the parking brake malfunction light comes on along with the lights for the PRNDS, they are all selected instead of just one letter for the gear selected. I tow it to the dealer and it is gone for another 4 days for another electrical issue. I'm now trying to get rid of the car because I don't really feel secure driving it anymore.
