I bought this car for my wife on black friday in 2010. It had 116,000 miles on it. After having it for 3.5 weeks the check engine light came on with a code for the catalyst converter. We took the car to the dealer we bought it from and he fixed it. about 2 months later the light came on again for the same thing. we changed the o2 sensors and it went off. few weeks later it came back on with the code PO420 catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank # 1. i was told to change the gas cap by the VW dealership. I still have the check engine light on and the VW place wants $150.00 just to look at it. anyone else had this issue or any ideas?
