- Summary
- After replacing a Bosch 5.7 ABS module, refer to the table below to determine correct module coding value based on vehicle PR codes. Listed login code must be entered under Access/authorization before coding is attempted. After completing coding, G85 steering angle sensor basic settings must be performed before cycling key. To perform G85 basic settings manually in Vehicle self-diagnosis (VAS PC) or Control Module OBD (ODIS), start by entering access/authorization code 40168. After code is accepted, turn steering wheel 1 turn left and back to center, one turn right, and then center steering wheel. Select basic settings and enter group 1. Once display changes to ?Sensor OK? or ?Calibration OK?, basic settings have been completed. Cycle key OFF and then back ON. Clear faults to verify repair.
