Coil problem with my 2002 Passat. The car has 10,000 miles and was in the shop for 3 weeks. VW replaced 1 coil, but there is a strong possiblility that the other 3 will go, too. VW needs to do a recall since the car loses acceleration when the coil goes.
My 2002 Volkswagen Passat has an ignition coil problem that causes it to misfire and lose power. The car was in a VW service center for more than 2 weeks. After receiving the car back from the dealer the problem has exhibited itself again. VW can't guarantee the problem will be permanently fixed.
Customer states that while driving at any speed the vehicle will stall without warning making it hard for the driver to control the vehicle, the dealer has been notified.
