I told u once and that didn't work,I told u twice nope that didn't work. I have changed the head gasket on my 1998 Passat 3 times and the car still lives me stranded.I got all existed went and bought a 1998 Passat the same week paid $250 to tint the windows and even put rims Special ordered rims to fit the lug pattern for the Passat.$2000 18inch,new tires balanced the whole works and if that wasn't enough I put tvs in it and the loudest sound system u could buy $1500 ,So three months into it I got the nicest car in the block a Passat with all the extras and all of a sudden the check engine light is on. I park the car and take it to the shop they told me the headgasket was blown so i had it repaired right away.I got it back a month later and the first week the car marks the light engine light again so I was thinkin the first shop didn't do the right job on the car.I finally take it to another shop thinkin they could do a better job.I told them how bad the guys in the other shop had screwed up right we laughed and even said losers right. well they worked on the car returned it to me a week later also fixing the head gasket..I get my car back I get all pumped up drive it to the carwash wash it and clean the rims and im out for a cruise that same day the light comes on.ohhhh im furious i jumped screamed I was so mad I decided to work on the car myself..I tore the whole motor apart ended up finding sludge inside it,it was horrible inside but this time not only did I change the head gasket I changed the waterpump the thermostat all the belts I changed everything I could to have done .$1500 FOR FIRST REPAIR 2ND TIME $1100 3rd time $2000 total about $4600 +5000 cash for car also $250 windows+$1500 rims $1000tvs and sound system . All for a grand total of about I dont know $12350 the car was driven about one month and it did it for the third time the car is parked out side the house and it will not run. It did it again I have invested every dollar I had into this car not only am i broke i went and spent every dollar i had in the bank and spent all this time and effort to end up carless and not even enough money to buy a snickers bar. In the name of Jesus please don't buy a VW piece of sh*t ever i mean ever....
