VW redesigned this hose with good reason. It had a bend in the wrong location that caused sever abrasion on a ridged aluminum line (A/C I believe). There really was no way around this w/o a hose redesign. This hose, after market price was about $80, dealer was well over $100. This is one single hose!! I found the issue because I was doing a through hose replacement and boy was I feeling lucky! I could have lost my engine if that had gone on the highway. The special coolant is $30/gallon (2007). Check your hose or lose your engine!
