CarComplaints.com Notes: The 3rd generation B3 Passat received a major facelift for the 1993 model year. Despite being designated the B4, it's not an all-new model and is still the same generation. Major changes included new body panels, a new grille, and updated safety equipment (dual front airbags and seat belt pretensioners).
The IIHS has not conducted crash tests for the 1993 Passat yet.
