Tech Tips (Transmission Replacement Tip):
When replacing the 7 speed DSG transmission, the K0 clutch actuator may come with a yellow and black plastic plug installed, as shown in in this document. This plug should be removed and replaced with the aluminum plug found in the original K0 clutch actuator, shown in this document. The yellow and black plastic plug should be reinstalled in place of the plug on the original transmission.
