The same new car, at 500km, engine fan stays on all the time, even with all heating, AC, everything off. Took an appointment to Arbour VW in Laval.QC . Next day the check engine went on. In a few days, when I had the appointment, they checked it. They said that it was one occurrence code for the engine too hot, and that triggered the fan to run continuously. They cleared the code and everything was back to normal. I don't know for how long.... I will keep you updated. Stay away from these cars. Their quality control really lacks something... or ..completely.
