I am leasing a VW 2018 - 2019 Jetta SEL and after 5000 miles I got a warning for oil. So I stopped the car and let is rest for 10 minutes and check the oil. Well the oil level was below the stick requirement, so I added 1 quart and took it to the dealership. of course they couldn't duplicate the issue because I added oil. The diagnosis was that because I have a turbo, the engine sucks oil. It doesn't make sense for a new car. Also I was advised to check the oil every 2000 miles. I believe that there is something more to it. Anyway it is documented and I have proof of this happening. This morning I checked the level, it's half way. well we will keep you posted very nice car but disappointed of this oil issue.
