I was driving home from work yesterday and as I was turning around a curve, my car started jerking back and forth and the engine wouldn't accelerate. I started to smell a burning fuel smell in the car so I pulled over to see if turning the engine off would help at all. I started the engine again but even with it in park with the emergency brake on, the car continued to shake back and forth. The burning smell also returned. I turned it off and back on once more and the check engine light came on along with the battery light. The car would just rev but not start up. I got it towed and am waiting for an update on my car.
