Truth is that nor I nor the dealer have been able to sort out the nature of the problem.

I started driving and after 300 yards several lights turned on in the dashboard: Brakes, Check Engine, Low Tire Pressure, Traction Control, ABS & Air bag.

The car immediately disengaged the traction, even though the car engine was running and the gear shift was on in drive, the car would not move.

Turned off the car, turned it on again, all lights were back to normal, drove another 30 yards, same thing.

Took the car to the dealership, they updated the software and explained to me that there was a problem with the reading on the ABS sensor confusing the computer. Took the car back, after a day, same thing happened, this time also the RPM indicator was going up and down and the car would not let me take the stick from the Park position. Had to disconnect the battery and reconnect, returned the car to the dealers garage.

All VW experts have seen the car, and no one understands what is wrong with it (already for two weeks in the garage). One thing is sure, I'm not going to be driving this car again. Cannot rely on a car that randomly disengages traction...
