I'd only had the car a few months and first it was the right rear taillight, then a week later it was all the lights on the exterior drivers side except the plate light and one tail light -and it's not the fuse or bulb. I believe it's in the body control module but has not been confirmed. I took to the dealership and the warranty said it wasn't covered - they tried telling me it was the bulbs and I said all of them at the same time give me a break. I knew it was bs cause I had replace one on the opposite side and they all worked prior to that. I noticed a lot of complaints about this issue I just wish there was some fix for the headache involved.
I purchased this car in 2014 and it has been nothing but problems. Dealership that sold it to me, I think they just patched it up to sell when I started having problems with it. I was told that they were not a vw dealer. I paid 200.00 dollars to them for a repair and still have the same problem with the car lights and check engine.
