(Cylinder Glow Plug Circuit issues):
Internal hardware issue of the glow plug relay may cause an over voltage supply to the glow plug(s) damaging the heating element. The production solution to this issue was Improved glow plug relays implemented in production and spare parts.
This document discusses the "Fault Codes" necessary to diagnosis, and potential remedy of the issue. The fault codes for checking warranty coverage for servicing the vehicle are also available.
