If no communication can be established to the Vehicle electrical system control module J519 (address word 09) in Guided Fault Finding or Vehicle Self Diagnosis, it may be necessary to cycle door locks. It is recommended to cycle both the remote locks and the driver?s door lock switch when attempting to communicate to the module with the scan tool. Ensure all vehicle doors are unlocked before communication is retried.
