Purchased a 2012 Jetta in 2014, a faulty high pressure fuel pump failed broke inside all three fuel pumps, lines and injectors had shavings which contaminated the whole system that is costing $7000 to fix. Husband called Volkswagen manufacturer on 10/13/15 Volkswagen rep was aware of the faulty part and did not notify me or my husband. It is not considered a recall because there has not been a certain percentage of people having the same issue happen. Also was told it would have been replaced for free if the mileage on the car was under 120,0000 miles, car is over by 15,000 miles. My husband drives for a living and because of the mileage they are not willing to pay. Looking for a lawyer.
