CarComplaints.com Notes: Digging through the long list of NHTSA complaints about a sudden loss of engine power and the high pressure fuel pump failing, it's never good to come across the "my car (with a cold engine) set itself on fire in the middle of the night" complaint.

From reading the other complaints about 2011 Jetta it seems like a lot of people are having issues with horns not working or working sometimes but faint. And I'm one of them. It's really a pain and expensive because I have to pass inspection shortly and required to get that issue fix asap and the dealership is already ready to lube me up for what sounds like a common problem...
My horn suddenly stop working and out the blue, if it does decide to work, it's faint. Just for the dealership to diagnose the problem it would be $150 which is outrageous. I will not be purchasing another German car again because Jetta made it where computers can't read or diagnostic the problem only them. And that's being a monopoly and corrupt, especially when it's a common issue and you're being forced to only go to the most expensive option to have it fixed. 2011 needs to start recalling this common issue. Not mention they already have recalls on other electrical issues which I think it's all somehow tied together in one.
