I was driving my car went around the corner and the car cut off. Started it back up, it sounded crazy. Drove it home and took it to the dealership. They said it was the high and low pressure fuel pumps and intake manifold, valves needed to be cleaned cost $2900.00. Took my car home. it cut off and wouldn't start, had to get it towed. Then I got the parts and towed it back to dealership. They wanted to charge me $1300 to fix. Mind you, I brought my own parts smh. Two hours later was called and they said my engine was gone $6000.00 to fix. Two shops later, I'm getting an engine mechanic said the car was misdiagnosed it was the tensioner that caused the chain to break and then the valves and pistons were broke off in the engine. It should have been a recall on this or they should be fixing this problem. My car has only been fixed at the dealership. I feel it's such a injustice to the owners of these vehicles. Volkswagen needs to make it right.
