mas inflow sensor, takes 3 tries to start, chugs, low power
My understanding is that Volkswagen knows their sensors go bad on pretty much every vehicle they sell but there has never been a recall. The issues began during the warmer months of the year and then would stop as things cooled off. Now, it is all year round and if the vehicle has been sitting for longer than 4 hours, it takes 2, sometimes 3 attempts to start. Sometimes the vehicle accelerates on its own and then slows back down, it chugs, misfires, basically the car runs like a piece of sh*t. I will NEVER buy another Volkswagen. First vehicle I have ever owned with this issue.
