Well along with the other fellow drivers, I have found the Dealership IS willing to bend over backwards to fix the problem. They ARE willing to swap out parts NO questions asked. They are creative and willing to try to make us happy. That said... Is it possible that the engineers should have done a complete redesign on the front end for 10 or 11, rather than directing all the attention to the CC or other models, finish the work that was on the drawing board. I notice the problem, I have driven slower and more cautious, I have even told the wife to do the same. The problem is still a suspension flaw. The last dealership in Florida that took the car in removed everything including the front fenders. Nothing. This will be reason enough for me to continue to write to Volkswagen, I suggest we ALL do the same.

Jetta Wolfsburgh 2.0L T

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,000 miles

This car is a piece of sh*t! Makes noise and blows tires all the time! I have been so ready to have VW come pick it up already! They should stop making the Wolfsburgh Edition. Seems I am not the only one with suspension issues. This car also blows tires all the time. I had it 14 months and have needed 4 tires and 1 alignment!

After 2,000 miles on a brand new VW Jetta Wolfsburg, loud creaking started in both front and back. Brought the car to dealership; they test drove it and said they didn't hear anything. After having to display anger, they suddenly could hear the creaking and said they would replace ALL bushings. When we got the car back, there is still creaking. Called and they said they only replaced two bushings, instead of ALL as promised. Still waiting for a callback from manager to proceed.

Very unsatisfied, especially after reading other complaints - obviously a problem with the model.

Jetta TDI 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,300 miles

A brand new car with 5k miles and the suspension creaks? My neighbor had a 65 Pontiac Tempest that creaked. I never wanted to associate my brand new car with that heap of junk, but the sound is the same.

Jetta Wolfsburg 2.0t

  • Automatic transmission
  • 700 miles

8 months ago I purchased a brand new VW Wolfsburg Jetta ('08) and a few months after driving it- only on paved roads- I started hearing a loud creaking sound in the front drivers side wheel especially when I would turn the vehicle or only go over slight bumps. I took it into the dealer a total of 4 times and after they replaced the A arm, shocks, struts, bushings and took it apart several times on my brand new car, the problem kept coming back. Each time they would take it apart and replace something or just put it back together, the car would be fine for 2 weeks, then the noise would come back really loud.

Well, they could not figure out the problem so the dealership gave me a new '09 Wolfsberg Jetta- after a fight of course- and now after just a couple weeks and 700 miles, the noise is back on this brand new car but in both tires! What is going on?? I live in Seattle and only drive on paved streets. Are these cars lemons? Please help!

Jetta TDI (Comfortline) Diesel

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,553 miles

I just got my Jetta TDI 2009, and everything runs smoothly. I took the car to the dealership for a creaking noise from the front driver side. It made noise when the chassis was solicited, like going over a speed bump, coming into a driveway, making a quicker turn or a quick stop and acceleration. The VW techs took the car for a spin, and heard the noise coming out likely from the control arms. They changed them, and the noise went away. However, the creaking noise came back not even 500 kms later, so it could be a bushing issue, lubing, rubbing problem, who knows. I will find out next week, as I take the car back to VW again.
