catastrophic fialure of clutch
The funny thing is I'm deployed and the car has only been started up since I left 4 months ago, in other words very limited driving to only move the car when it was in the way. Maybe the clutch goes bad when it's not used? I was told the car started to smoke and smelled like burning rubber about a minute after the car was turned on. So far it's an estimated $3k to fix.
I don't have much more detail since I'm about 15,000 miles away from my car.
