Medical attention was not required. The failure persisted even at the lowest setting. The failure recurred on one other occasion. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 84,000.
2007 Volkswagen Jetta. Attorney representing consumer writes in regards to vehicle seat heater caught fire and burned the consumer and her clothing. After the dealer kept the vehicle for two weeks, it was returned to her in the same manner and she was offered $1200 and they would disconnect the heater.
